Musing on “you might have too much on your mind if…”

Okay. She's a little young and sassy to be me. All the images of "women with car keys" were. So there.

Today I went into Atlanta for a class.

I race in — sit for two and a half wonderful hours — then race back out.

After class, I hit the parking deck to return home, got in my car and …. no keys.

I searched in my purse, found the keys and started the car and headed to I-75.

I proceeded on I-75. Shortly after picking up speed and successfully avoiding being flattened by dump truck, I heard a *tink*, *tink.*

I only heard this *tink* *tink* because the radio was not on. I wanted to quiet my mind.

You know I must have really wanted to calm the brain if I elected no music.

Turned off at next exit and this is what I saw.

First of all — can you imagine what the people at the intersection of West Paces and I-75 must have thought of some woman hanging out her window with her iPhone?

Good grief.

I pulled out the key.

And put on just what I needed in such a discombobulated state. Which has become my new normal functioning state.

I can’t tell you how many times a week I play this song in my car.

I’m like an addict.

I want Mr. Blue Sky all the time.

Is that a crime?

Jeff Lynne’s hair-do in this video is in 35 states at pending in the Arizona House as I type.

All I can say is I had a little too much on the plate yesterday…but all turned out okay. I made it home and cooked you dinner, right. I did cook, didn’t I?
