Bare down to where?

Bare down to where?

Linking up with Lisa Jo Baker @ tales from a Gypsy Mama for Five Minute Friday, for even though we are all busy —

We all can take five minutes for fun, right?

This Friday’s word:

BARE.

Go.

Sitting here crossed legged, I stare out at my jeans. And my socks.

One of joys of warm weather is bare feet.

Although with me that mandates a pedicure. Or at least some polish on my toes.

I love bare skin.

Heck, I walk around naked half the day.

Joke.

I have body issues like everyone else. Or should I say every other woman. Men don’t seem the least bit bothered to walk around with the bellies hanging down to the knees. I digress.

I love not having to layer on clothes just to walk the dog.

Shorts, sleeveless topless, flip flops.

Yes, an island life for me.

A few more months, I guess. Or maybe this weekend?

STOP

What about you? Bare or no?

Happier days with brown feet.

Loved your post. I’m with you, sister, an island life for me too! Especially in the winter. Your post made me smile! Have a great day!

  2. Ah yes I can not WAIT for flip flop feet tans! I felt so accomplished last summer when I got a wristwatch tan! first one ever! it’s the small things in life 🙂

I love going bare foot and will admit that wear flip flops in the rain. I hate wearing socks and closed toed shoes.

    Have a great weekend!

  4. Nice tan lines! It’s too cold for flip flops up here, but I like to laugh when people wear them in the snow anyway. Goofballs! Enjoy your weekend.

You have no idea! My husband can walk “bare” in front of the window and not give it a second thought. NO modesty, lol.

  6. Believe it or not, there comes a time in the season that I sit outside and roll up my yoga pants to let my legs and feet get some sun. It’s nice to be even before I get the farmers tan from socks or flip flops. It’s not going to happen this weekend though. Maybe someone from Maine would think it was warm enough 😉 but not me.

Oh yes Amanda, I do have an idea. (And we live on a busy street.)

I am with you ALL the way, Jamie. And I’m loving the sunshiney yellow polish.
