A little something for me.
I really need another swimsuit.
Not as in bikini swimsuit but a bathing suit to swim laps in.
The dog chewed up my favorite. It was red and once a girl actually thought I was a lifeguard. Ha.
The elastic stretched in two others (the manufacturer of famous athletic wear shall remain nameless) so when I swam I felt as if half my breast was coming out of the side along my arm.
Great look for a Sports Illustrated model. Me, well it’s just disturbing.
So I am down to two swimsuits.
I tried one on at the store yesterday. A manufacturer, Speedo that I trust (these suits last people) and it fit.
I didn’t buy it. I walked out of the store and thought — I’ll see if I can get it less expensive online.
Haven’t bought it.
Other than a few Christmas gifts for other folks, I haven’t both anything for myself lately.
I just can’t bring myself to do it.
I used to buy lots of stuff for myself. Outfits, shoes. Shoes, outfits.
Not anymore.
This puts me in a quandary for MamaKat’s Writer’s Workshop prompt 3.) What was the last thing you bought?
I’m sitting here stumped on the last thing I bought for myself.
Do pansies for pots in front of the house count? (They still sit in their trays a week later.)
I bought a gift yesterday for the Sparkle party I went to last night.
Got it. While I was shopping for my sparkly gift to take to the Sparkle party I bought a $5 pair of sparkly earrings.
I think that was it. Maybe I’ll wear them in the pool tomorrow.
Or does dropping a load for a month’s worth of Estrogen patches count? Did that recently too.
What about you? Last thing you’ve purchase?
