Musing on an art studio in Rutledge, Georgia.
Creatives types. Painters, writers, actors, peeps who do incredible things with multi-colored pipe cleaners. We feel the need to squirrel away and be one with our art.
I was dropping a cute friend of my daughter of at her parent’s shop in Rutledge.
Joan Ekstrom and husband Pete have a frame shop. But the best part is that Joan is an artist. And a big part of the shop is her studio.
Examples of her art.
If I tried a watercolor of either of my grandmothers, it would look like a Picasso had a really bad day.
Not going to post a Picasso here because know that would infringe some copyright.
Just imagine a painting of me about 90 years old with my noses protruding out of my right cheek.

This is what I loved.
How great to have a studio with an open window on a fall afternoon. To paint, to write or to act out skits playing all the parts. (Or whatever actors do.)
Where do you go? Your perfect place to create.
