Musing on the grade…Morgan County beats NE Macon in a Trilla.
The sky was really amazing upon arrival.
Parking:
Now those of us arriving close to kick off had to park across the street. We got to walk in a very cool bridge complete with graffiti and metal fencing. The kids loved it on the way over but were a little scared on the way back because it was rather dark. To me….the darkness added to the ambiance. So for ease, safety and over all urban feel, I’d have to give the parking a solid…

Morgan County fans:
Well, once again there was an OUTSTANDING crowd that followed Malone and Company an hour and 15 minutes south. This is a shot of the home stands. There were more of us on the visiting side though I don’t have a picture to show for sure. Morgan County travelling crowd was a solid..

Now for some candids…..
So many people have red shirts. I have worn the same black shirt two weekends in a row. I guess I need to break down and buy a red shirt. Not wanting to put on jeans in heat, I wore a long skirt. Son didn’t tightened cap of Coke bottle and it spilled all over the ground where I was sitting — and my skirt absorbed that Coke better than Bounty on steriods. That was fun.
Odd that this child won't secure screw on Coke top.
Team Doc and Super of best darn school system in Georgia. (Probably discussing how to save a life or something.)

Restrooms:
Biggest surprise of the night. They were huge, clean and about the best darn thing about the entire evening. My grade will in no way be biased by how happy (very happy) I was to find them after drinking a very large Coke Zero on the drive down.

The Concessions:
Now it is never my intention to be mean. That said. I must be honest in my ever striving effort for journalistic integrity. V. disappointed in the concessions. Wait was long (definite hometown favoritism allowing major cuts in line). Out of boiled peanuts by time we arrived at window. NO POPCORN. But good assortment of candy. We made do with a KitKat, Starburst, Reese’s and Diet Coke. The grade…

Sadly here is where my camera ran out of battery juice. This of course is when the game got exciting. We kicked a field goal to go ahead…and then had to make a defensive stand.
This is the moment with :31 seconds to go when we knew the game was ours.

The Celebration.
After winning four games this season…the team, band, cheerleaders and fans are getting this celebration thing down.

hk-my goats are absolutely wonderful. please come visit them sometime. fancy goat loves to get her goaty-head scratched between her horns. please give oreo a big hug from me. and yes, your mom’s pictures are lovely! i had such a good time reading her stories about game night. i hope she will do the same for the next road trip. maybe she won’t have to wear a skirt because it’s too hot, or spill her coke, or have to look at joe’s snaggly loose tooth! love to all the miles family.
