The Muse: What does Mommy do on first day of school?

The Muse: What does Mommy do on first day of school?

Today was first day of school year 2011-2012.

My oldest started his senior year. This morning I blinked and he was out the door catching a ride. No time for camera. Next year, I won’t be fooled. I’ll keep the camera by the door.

Oh yeah. There won’t be a next year with him.

I took a picture of my two youngest outside. They were fighting about who would sit where in the car. It’s evident on their faces in the picture I snapped of them.

I will not share that photo with you.

After dropping everyone off I headed to city church parking lot. After seeing a large group of running ladies meet there after carpool drop off, year after year, I decided they need a matriarch to make them all feel so much younger.

 It was fun.

They walked, they ran. Some walked faster than I ran-walked. Make sense?

It was fun to run with people again…

So join us tomorrow.

Why not?

See Jill you were raised right. Kindness to your elders is such a sign. I had great time. I’ll be out as many mornings as this knee will let me.
