Our assignment this week: What sounds drive you mad!
So here I go…
10. Lawn-services and their stash of blowers. Those blowers start and my teeth clench.
9. My husband eating corn-on-the-cob. It’s not him. It’s me. Makes me crazy.
8. A lonely TV blabbering into the nothing-ness with no one watching.
7. Impatient car horn at red light.
6. My husband snoring at night. Once again. Not him. Just me.
5. Children fighting in backseat. If I’m tired, this sends me charging at the red cape.
4. A child saying, “After I finish this” in response to my asking them to do something.
3. The phone ringing. There I admitted it.
2. The dog’s whimper to go outside that wakes me up in middle of the night.
1. The recyclable truck outside my home when I have forgotten to take the bins to the curb.
What sounds make you cringe?
#4 is driving me crazy too!
OMG you hit the nail on the head with “a child saying “after I finish this”! I don’t know how many times/day I hear that. It really makes my hackles go up. (-:
I didn’t think of it until you said it, but the phone ringing does make me kinda nuts! I can usually be heard to groan, sigh or otherwise make a “dislike” sound when I hear it. 🙂

We went through a similar trash-digging scenario after a child lost her retainer… but never with such a ginormous check!!!! I’m so glad you found it! Yikes…

I do not like anything to do with phone talking! ANYTHING! In fact I have not switched sound on my iphone since the day I got it!
