Muses

Ooh Dreamweaver.

Before it was a software, Dreamweaver was better known as a song.

A song from my youth. A youth in her infancy of experimenting with FM radio days.

Why is it that certain songs come flooding back to you in a rush.

For some odd reason, Gary Wright’s Dreamweaver was one of those songs.

That was back in the day that I really believed in dreams, not only for their symbolism but that they were prophetic.

As am now a bit wiser, I try to find the hidden meaning in them — along with the help of Dreammoods.com.

A great web site to interpret dreams.

But honestly lately, I’ve been sleeping like a rock. No sleeping drugs, either.

No dreams that I remember.

I don’t really miss them.

Maybe I should.

Once again linking up with Jana at Jana’s Thinking Place for Stream of Consciousness Sunday.

Dreams was our prompt.

I’ve learned the key to some of my reoccurring dreams. One such dream was every time I got on a plane, it crashed.

I’d take my seat, apologize to the folks sitting to my right and left, “Sorry you ended up on the plane in my dream — cause we’re going down.”

Finally I learned that plane crashes symbolize when you feel expectations on performance are too high and you won’t be able to meet them.

BINGO. So me.

Once I learned its meaning, I rarely have that dream anymore. I can’t remember the last time I did.

But since I’m sleeping so soundly these days, maybe I’m dreaming it all the time?

Do you have any reoccurring dreams?
