What is that I smell?
Monday, Monday.
It’s the start of the children’s Spring Break, woo. So why not start of the party week with Stasha and a Listicle. This week our prompt was suggested by Kerry @ New2Two.
Ten of our favorite smells.
10. An outdoor wood fire.
9. Movie Theater with Popcorn.
8. Salt air.
7. A baby’s head.
6. Cut grass.
5. Confederate Jasmine.
4. Old Spice.
Reminds me of Dad.
3. Over-powering disinfectant in a public bathroom.
2. Gasoline.
1. Any meal that I didn’t have to cook or clean up.

Funny, but ‘Any meal I didn’t have to cook’ kept popping into my mind when I was thinking of the list, too. In the end, I didn’t end up putting it on my list, but we have a few favourite smells in common nonetheless. 🙂
Ha ha. Food smells s much better when prepared by others. I love Old spice for the very same reason. And cut grass with a side of jasmine. Pure summer. I love fore too, until it gets into your hair and clothes.
I had to laugh at #2! And amen to anything I don’t have to cook or clean up. That always makes it smell better!
This list is funny to me and I don’t know why. I think it was how it began with a woo woo to spring break and number 3 . You’re lists are always good! Always!
Aww my bff loooooves to smell baby heads!
I didn’t think of movie theater popcorn but YES!
Here are mine:

I swear I can smell through #3! Especially if I walk past the boys bathroom at my son’s school. YUCK! Mmmm to Jasmine.
Oh my gosh, yes — gasoline!!!
Outdoor wood fire–yes! I’ll leave the overpowering disinfectant or gasoline to you, though!! 🙂
I think it’s odd that people like the scent of gasoline…I always have – it has a weirdly attractive aroma to it.
The scent of an outdoor fire, campfire, or grilled food just enhances the summertime, for me.
Movie theater popcorn is soooo tempting to smell.
I also like the scent of caramel corn in the mall. YUM!
I had anything I didn’t cook too – you must love cooking as much as I do!
I love the smell of coffee and the ocean…
I love the scent of Jasmine!! sadly, I cannot get any to grow up here. it’s just too cold for the plant I guess.
a bonfire on summer’s eve is pretty great too. But not the next day in your clothes. that’s not nice.
You made me drool with the movie theater popcorn! And I do like my public restrooms disinfected. But the winner? #1! Ellen
hmmmmm…. jasmine….!!
Oh I love movie theater popcorn smell!!
I forgot about a wood burning fire outside, especially when it’s cold or after a long summer day – this is one of the most relaxing smells ever!
Great post!
